Template — review with counsel. This page is a starting template written for the fictional Halvenor Realty demonstration and has not been reviewed by a lawyer. Do not publish it for a real business without legal review in every country where you operate.
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (together, CCPA), California residents can tell a business not to sell or share their personal information. Residents of other US states with similar laws, and individuals under the GDPR and UK GDPR, have related rights. This page explains how to use them with Halvenor Realty.
Our position on sale and sharing
Halvenor does not sell personal information for money. “Sharing” under California law means disclosing personal information to a third party for cross-context behavioural advertising. We do this only through advertising cookies, and only if you have opted in using our cookie banner. If you opt out here or in the cookie settings, we stop doing so.
Your rights
You can ask us to do any of the following. We do not charge a fee and we will not treat you worse for making a request.
- Know what personal information we collect, use, disclose and share, and receive a copy of it
- Delete personal information we hold about you, subject to legal exceptions
- Correct inaccurate personal information
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information
- Limit the use and disclosure of sensitive personal information
Global Privacy Control
If your browser sends the Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a valid request to opt out of sale and sharing for that browser and, where we can recognise you, for your account.
