Shoreditch shop unit with basement
Shoreditch, London

Shoreditch is east London’s creative and tech hub, packed with converted warehouses, studios and late-night venues. It suits renters and buyers who want energy, short commutes to the City and a loft-style home.
Victorian warehouses, new glass blocks and a lot of street art share a handful of streets, with Redchurch Street, Columbia Road and Brick Lane close by. The area is young, loud and busy, with a dense mix of studios, start-ups and restaurants.
Liverpool Street and Old Street are both short walks away, and the City is about 10 minutes on foot or by bike. The Elizabeth line at Liverpool Street reaches Canary Wharf, the West End and Heathrow without a change.
In 2026 the median sale price is about £780K, roughly £10,200 per square metre, and a typical 2-bedroom rental costs about £3,400 a month. Prices are up 2.4% on a year ago and homes take around 45 days to sell, which points to very strong demand.
Weekend nightlife means noise on many streets, so ask about glazing and which side of the building the bedroom faces. Family-oriented schools are more of a feature in nearby Hackney than in the core of Shoreditch itself.
