Altbau flat bought with open eyes
Jonas checked the Energieausweis, the Hausgeld and the Rücklage of the Eigentümergemeinschaft before we even booked a viewing. We bought a Prenzlauer Berg Altbau with a healthy reserve fund.

Clear on the Maklerprovision

Careful on due diligence
He asked for the Teilungserklärung and three years of owners’ meeting minutes. Some sellers do not like that, but it saved us from a looming roof bill.

Honest, but slower than hoped
Our sale took four months and the first price Jonas suggested was a little cautious. We reduced no further and eventually achieved it. Good communication, just a long wait.
