One-bedroom waterfront condo with river views
Williamsburg, New York
By ·Marcus Bell

Williamsburg is Brooklyn’s waterfront neighbourhood of converted lofts, new glass towers and one of the city’s liveliest food and music scenes. It draws younger renters and buyers who want Manhattan within 15 minutes.
Former factories now hold lofts, studios and restaurants, with the East River waterfront lined by high-rises and parks. Bedford Avenue is the main strip, with weekend markets and rooftop bars in the summer.
The L train crosses to Manhattan in 10 to 15 minutes, and the J/M/Z and G lines add options. The NYC Ferry runs from the North Williamsburg dock.
In 2026 the median sale price is about $1.05M, roughly $12,000 per square metre, and a typical 2-bedroom rental costs about $5,000 a month. Prices are up 4.2% on a year ago and homes take around 45 days to sell, which points to very strong demand.
Nightlife and construction can be noisy, and new-build condos often carry tax abatements that expire. Winter wind can be strong along the waterfront.
